Professional Marine Detailing
Real Workmanship for Boats That Deserve Better
Middle Peninsula Marine Detailing was built from a lifelong passion for boats and a belief that the work should be done correctly and never rushed. Every project begins with a complimentary consultation to build a clear plan based on your boat’s condition and your goals.
We focus on restoring appearance, protecting surfaces, and delivering results that last well beyond pickup day.
Estimates are available by appointment at our Deltaville location or at the vessel’s storage location.

Clean Captain’s Club
Clean Captain’s Club
Recurring dockside care that keeps your boat ready between trips.
Clean Captain’s Club provides scheduled maintenance washing for qualifying lift kept and slip kept boats at approved marinas and private docks.
Weekly Care
$300 per month
One scheduled maintenance visit during each service week.
Every Other Week Care
$200 per month
One scheduled maintenance visit every two service weeks.
Each visit includes up to 30 minutes of routine exterior maintenance washing. Service focuses on safely accessible exterior surfaces above the waterline, including decks, cockpit, helm, exterior seating, glass and rails. Cleaning priorities are adjusted to the condition of the vessel and the available service window.
Members receive a completion message and photograph after each visit. Obvious concerns observed during service will be documented and reported.
Initial Reset Required
Every vessel must begin in a condition that can reasonably be maintained during recurring 30 minute visits.
MPMD will inspect the vessel and quote the Initial Reset separately. Depending on its current condition, the reset may range from a focused deep cleaning to a Full Detail.
Most open boats up to 32 feet qualify. Flybridges, towers, full enclosures, extensive canvas, multi level cruisers and unusually complex vessels require individual approval and may require custom pricing.
Membership requires route availability, safe vessel access and automatic monthly billing.
Your Questions, Answered
Where are you located?
Estimates and consultations are available by appointment at your marina, at Deltaville, VA location or at your dock.
Do you service boats at marinas and private docks?
Yes. Clean Captain’s Club provides recurring dockside maintenance washes for qualifying lift kept and slip kept vessels at approved marinas and private docks. Service is offered on established routes and requires safe access and an approved water source.
Correction, polishing and restoration work are generally completed at our shop, where lighting and working conditions allow us to produce the best result.
Can you remove oxidation and waterline staining?
In many cases, yes. Results depend on the condition and remaining thickness of the gelcoat. A test section may be completed before recommending the full correction process.
How is pricing determined?
Pricing begins with boat length and service level, and then considers condition, oxidation, staining, access and work requested. Final pricing and expectations are set after inspection before scheduling service. Deposits may be required for larger projects or restoration work. Terms are confirmed before scheduling.
How long does a detail take?
Maintenance details typically require one working day. Full details may require two days. Restoration work may require three days or longer. Turn around time to be determined at inspection.
What marinas do you serve?
We serve marinas throughout Deltaville and the surrounding Middle Peninsula, with routes expanding as membership grows. Service is also available at qualifying private docks.
If your marina isn't currently on one of our routes, reach out anyway. New memberships help us determine where we expand next.
Do you compound or wax nonskid decks?
No. Textured nonskid is deep cleaned using products and methods designed for that surface. Compounds and conventional wax can leave residue or create unsafe slickness.
Our work
